This week I'd like you to take a close look at a project I worked on at Canoe.
It is a large, multi-story special report and the first original piece of investigative reporting produced specifically for the Internet in Canada.
As you can see, we had many challenges in structuring and displaying the large amount of content we had. The report includes about 30 stories and many more pieces of information (information objects!) such as pamphlets, graphics, photos, sound files and video files.
Please take a look at what the team of reporters, graphic artists and online editors did.
Consider what seems to work and what does not. Think about what might work for your own project. Be prepared to talk about the site, not so much in terms of content, but rather in terms of information architecture, organization, navigation, linking internally and externally, use of other media, usability, etc. etc.
